Hello Parents and Kindergartners!

I hope that everyone is doing well. As you know Dr. Bilsborough has asked us to send along some school activities that your child can work on each day at home. These tasks are found by following the link below and include a variety of games, websites and practice sheets. Along with ST Math and Raz Kids please have your child follow the schedule below for the next ten school days. As a team we will continue to add more activities to accommodate your child while working at home. Please keep your child’s work in a folder to be returned when Memorial reopens.

To be completed daily:
  • 15 minutes of ST Math - Attached is your QR code
  • Read two stories from RAZ Kids and complete the comprehension questions
  • Complete one journal page using one prompt - lined paper is included. Write one sentence or more sentence in your response.
  • Choose two Literacy activities
  • Choose two Math activities
  • The games can be played at any time for practice and fun.

Please note, I will be in contact with you everyday to make sure all is going well.  I will also be available daily by email from 2 - 3pm if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks so much for your support. We are in this together.

We have officially learned all of our lower case letters and the sounds that they make.  We are still working on writing them correctly using the handwriting lines.

We have also completed the first 25 Kindergarten sight words.  We are working on recognizing them in a snap!

In math, we contiue working on rote counting.  Our goal is to get all the way to 100!!  We have also begun learning about addition.  We have discussed the concept of addition and are working on using the correct symbols to create an equation.

In January, we will be learning about Courage.  We will be introduced to Cameron the Courageous Mouse!
